“I’m interested in the ideas of consciousness and personhood, and I’ve chosen to explore them through portraits of teeth - what I consider the ultimate symbol of humanity, distilled to its most primal and foundational element.
By taking something so essential yet hidden, and making it the presence - ennobled through the virtues of portraiture - I aim to make the world strange again, creating space for contemplation, reflection, and questioning.
