Featuring beloved Virginia artists such as David Douglas alongside nationally recognized contemporary voices, the collection moves between landscape, memory, and perception. Megan Lightell’s work examines protected and conserved environments, capturing the emotional resonance of landscapes rather than their literal depiction. David Douglas similarly explores the act of experiencing and recalling place over time. Marissa Voytenko’s abstract compositions serve as a bridge between the physical and spiritual, inviting viewers to engage the transcendent through meditative repetition and mirrored forms.
