Peter Cochrane uses metal and horticultural sculpture, digital imaging, and experimental darkroom photography to explore resilience and metamorphosis, depicting fundamental questions of human existence and cosmic time through elaborate narrative set pieces.
Cochrane holds a BA from San Francisco University and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. His work has been featured in The San Francisco Chronicle, Headmaster, the de Young Museum, the Vermont Center for Photography, and the Tokyo International Photo Awards. He currently owns Threep, a fine art photography and printmaking studio in Richmond, Virginia.
