Grace Mandl Heth

Grace Mandl Heth (b. 1993) is a deeply passionate and principles driven artist, designer, and thinker. Grace is inspired by honesty and kindness, new places and cultures, and the search to understand the human condition.

Her desire for goodness and light guides her continuous journey for personal and professional growth. Grace has a photographic color memory, and her practice is deeply rooted in color theory. Her marks are organic, gestural and intuitive. Her work is joyful and immersive. She primarily works with oil paint, oil sticks, and charcoal. Grace received her bachelors degree in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Design and Printmaking from the University of Southern California before moving to New York to pursue a career in footwear design. She spent five years as a designer for Sam Edelman sketching shoes and hand painting prints, embroidery and embellishment designs for Sam, as well as freelancing for several prestigious fashion brands before deciding to paint full time. After ten years in Brooklyn, she, her husband and their son recently made the move back to Los Angeles where they currently reside.
