Thomas Jackson is an installation and photography artist known for his fantastic and surreal work that abstractly combines landscapes, sculpture, and kinetic art.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Providence, he began his artistic career with an early interest in photography books before moving into his current installation work. His art is distinguished by bright, colorful elements, like swirling mists or migrating lines of "skirts," placed against natural or urban backgrounds. Jackson’s work is held in major collections, including Delta Airlines and MIT, and he has received honors such as being named a Critical Mass Top 50 artist.
