My work indulges the desire to document and process my everyday experience.
I am drawn to compositions that show the interplay of light and color, increasing the saturation and contrast to fuel the energy of the space. The interior serves as the setting of introversion and reflection as figures supplemented the space as psychological conduits, symbols, and visual anchors. I paint moments of love, warmth, and mundanity. The same meticulous attention to detail is given to both the seemingly commonplace and the deeply cherished. These differing foci are treated with equal reverence, and it invites the viewer to slow down and appreciate both.
