Jeri Eisenberg's childhood was spent near the ocean, whose power and beauty continue to beckon her.
This series explores the ocean's dynamic range, from cresting waves to tranquil swells, with a touch of nostalgia. She begins by printing images with water-soluble dye-based inks, then alters them by brushing or spraying water to make the dyes run in selected areas. The altered images are then scanned, printed on Japanese Kozo paper with archival pigment inks, and waxed.
