Kstony earned an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a B.A. in Industrial Art (Ceramics) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
In 2024, he was awarded the NCECA Multicultural Fellowship, recognizing his emerging contribution to contemporary ceramics. His work has been exhibited in Ghana and the United States, including solo exhibitions AKOKOA (Medici Gallery, UNL, 2024) and Create 48 (Lincoln, NE), as well as the 2025 and 2026 NCECA Student Juried Exhibitions; Ancestral Futures (ARC Gallery, Chicago, 2026); and Diasporic Crossing (Richmond, VA). Working across ceramics, metal, and found materials, Kstony investigates how fragmented histories and lived experiences can be reassembled into new forms, connecting Ghanaian cultural memory to broader contemporary conversations.
