Annaleigh Lokker was born in New Jersey in 2003 and moved to Rice, Va in 2006.
She received her BFA from Virginia Commonwealth May 8th, 2025. She works primarily in acrylic and in a variety of sizes on canvas. Her body of work breathes life into the past while using the past as an inspiration for the present. Creating pictures and still lifes that unlock a perspective of the world on canvas, bending light and form with paint. She uses antiques and personal items to paint a story and a create a personal narrative with objects.
